Going on Vacation?
Tuesday , April 13, 2010 | By: Admin

Are you planning a vacation soon? If so, here are a few tips to prevent everyone from knowing you're gone.

1. Put a hold on your mail and newspaper delivery or ask a friend or neighbor to empty them. If a burglar is scouting an area and sees an overflowing mail or newspaper box, he'll likely assume you're out of town.

2. Install timer switches on your TV's and lights throughout your home to give the impression that someone is home.

3. If you're taking your only vehicle on your vacation, ask a neighbor to park in your driveway. Anyone scouting the area will see a vehicle and possibly move on to another target.

Continue to check back for more safety tips.
